Kick-start to the new season for Cornard United FC
26 July 2017
UK home builder, Keepmoat Homes, was delighted to handover a £1,500 donation to local football club Cornard United FC, ahead of the new season.
Paul Williams, Treasurer for Cornard United FC said: “It’s a great kick-start for the club. As a small local club largely funded by donations and hiring out its facilities, a contribution like this is a real boost.”
The money will be spent on training equipment and help towards the cost of new goal posts. To recognise their contribution, Keepmoat Home’s logo is now proudly displayed on the football club’s stand.
Jacqui Egan, Regional Sales Manager at Keepmoat Homes said: “It’s always nice to be able to support grass roots activity in areas where we are building new homes. We were really pleased to support Cornard United FC, especially with their ground’s proximity to our Weaver’s Meadow development.”
Weaver’s Meadow in Great Cornard, offers one and two bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five bedroom houses. Prices start from £159,000.
