Keepmoat Launches New Sales Office and Show Homes at Westwood Park, Glenrothes
National housebuilder, Keepmoat, have opened their brand-new sales office and three new show homes at Westwood Park, Glenrothes. Prospective homebuyers in Fife will now be able to step foot onto the site that will deliver 420 much needed residential homes to the area.
Westwood Park will have a range of modern, energy-efficient two, three and four-bedroom homes, designed to cater for a range of needs and lifestyles. The development will feature useable amenity space and children’s play areas, as well as access links for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles to the wider area, delivering a safe and pleasant public realm, that encourages active lifestyles and has a community feel.
Keepmoat will also be providing a range of highly accessible new homes for sale, with 10% allocated for affordable housing.
The redevelopment of this vacant site to the south of Glenrothes is being delivered as part of a joint venture between Fife Council and Scottish Enterprise, together with adjoining landowner Land Team Scotland (Glenrothes) Limited.
Councillor Jan Wincott, spokesperson for Environment & Climate Change attended Keepmoat’s opening ceremony. She said: “It’s fantastic to see the new show homes open. This is the culmination of years of careful planning and preparation to transform a vacant site in south Glenrothes into a place that people are proud to call home.
"I welcome the vision to create a new thriving community and the benefits that it will bring not only to residents but also to local businesses.
The regeneration plans focus on increasing the residential population in the area – this means more footfall, more people using local businesses and services, supporting the local economy and therefore helping build a sustainable future for Glenrothes.”
