Keepmoat Northwest recently hosted a work placement for Ben Bassey, who currently attends Y10 at St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School Wigan. Ben was keen to gain an insight into the housebuilding industry and the variety of roles the industry has to offer.
Ben, pictured above with Keepmoat’s Regional Managing Director, Tony Mellor spent his time at Keepmoat’s head office in Speke, Liverpool and out on site. During his time in the office, he spent time with staff from various departments including Land & Partnerships, Commercial and the technical department before he headed out on site visits to gain an insight into the variety of onsite roles.
Rotation work experience is a great way for individuals to gain an insight into the variety of roles the industry has to offer, whilst gaining an understanding of the disciplines involved in the world of work. We hope we have opened Bens eyes to the amazing opportunities the industry has to offer so he can make a more informed decision when choosing his next steps in his career.
