Keepmoat Northwest recently supported Wigan Council’s Meet the Buyer event, held at Wigan and Leigh College.
The event, organised by Wigan Council, brought together businesses from across Wigan, along with key speakers to help businesses understand what opportunities are available and how the tendering process works, ensuring local businesses benefit from construction opportunities in Wigan borough.
Keepmoat’s Social Value Manager Julie Baker and Land and Partnership Manager Sophie Doyle hosted a stand at the event offering advice and information to local businesses on upcoming opportunities with Keepmoat and how to become a preferred supplier.
Our Social Value Manager was a guest speaker at the event, delivering a presentation about Keepmoat, The Seasons development at Worsley Mesnes Wigan, the delivery of our community wealth building activities, the support the council offer to help companies deliver these activities and the importance of doing so.
