Local Area

The local area

Combining the convenience of city suburb living, with East Yorkshire’s stunning countryside close to home, this carefully selected address has something for everyone.

On Wawne Road itself there’s a handy Nisa Local convenience store, pizzeria and fish & chip shop. Plus North Point Shopping Centre is literally just down the road. Here there’s a great choice of shops. So whether you want to do your weekly grocery shop, find a bargain or have something the eat, it’s all here and all on your doorstep. Bransholme Library, the local health centre and Bransholme Minor Injuries Unit is also handily located here too.

A few minutes walk away off Minehead Road and linked by a network of cycle paths is a well-equipped play area for children, including multi-purpose football and basketball pitches.

Another great place for all the family is Noddle Hill Nature Reserve. A short walk away, this protected wetland area is a refuge for local wildlife, including grass snakes, water voles and if you’re quiet enough, Roe Deer can be spotted here at dawn and dusk.

Just 4 miles from the development is East Park. The biggest and the most popular park in the whole city, there’s something for everyone in this picturesque Grade II listed park. Explore the 130 acres of parkland, take a ride on the legendary splash boat or get up close to some amazing animals in the education centre.

The development is just 5 miles from the centre of Hull, so you’re never far from a great choice of shopping, dining and entertainment venues. Or you could uncover the city’s rich and fascinating history. The eyes of the world will definitely be on Hull in 2017 as it proudly celebrates its City of Culture status. There’s lots going on throughout the year and it promises to be an exciting time for everyone in Hull.

Both the sales and the site teams were really good and they helped us with everything. This is the first home we have bought and they were fantastic in the way in which they supported and kept us up to date
