The local area

The Parks Phase 5 has a great choice of local amenities on your doorstep. A collection of shops, including an ASDA Superstore, Iceland Foods, Home Bargains, a post office and more are just a few minutes’ walk away on Breck Road. A large ALDI, Tesco Superstore, Tesco Express and Sainsbury’s are all also just a short drive away.

For all of your favourite high street shops, banks, convenience stores, plus lots of places to get a bite to eat, Liverpool ONE, Cavern Walks, Royal Albert Dock and Metquarter shopping centre provide everything from big name stores to independent boutiques.

As the birth place of the Beatles, Liverpool continues to be revered around the world as a vibrant centre for creative music and offers spectacular night life with a variety of live venues such as The Zanzibar Club, the O2 Academy and the Echo Arena. Theatres are in abundance here too, including The Empire, The Playhouse and Royal Court.

For the sports fans, both the Liverpool and Everton football clubs are just a stone’s throw away. If you enjoy getting out into the fresh air, there are plenty of parks in the area. Nearby Stanley Park is a great place to stretch the legs. This stunning 111-acre Grade II listed park, with its picturesque gardens, scenic lakes and beautiful conservatory is just a short walk away.

As a European Capital of Culture in 2008, art lovers are spoilt for choice, there are more galleries and museums within Liverpool than any other city in the UK excluding London, including the northern branch of the iconic modern art gallery the Tate Liverpool.

A fantastic location for growing families, there’s a good choice of local schools. Four Oaks Primary School is just a 1-minute walk away, Anfield Primary is just 10 minutes away. For the older children, North Liverpool Academy and West Derby School are also nearby.

Liverpool’s four universities – Liverpool John Moores, Liverpool Hope, Liverpool University and Edge Hill University are all easily accessible via excellent transport links for those moving into further education.

Out and about
