Code of Conduct for New Home Builders
Today new home construction in the UK is monitored, assessed and governed by some of the highest building regulations and consumer protection in the world.
Which is great for the peace of mind of every Keepmoat homeowner. Because they know they’re investing in a quality home, built the right way, using the right materials.
What’s the Consumer Code?
The code was developed by a group of homebuilders, construction industry bodies and the Government. It came into effect in April 2010 to give new homeowners even more confidence when buying.
It means that all new home buyers:
- know what service levels to expect from their homebuilder
- know the build timescales and other important property and location information
- know how to access speedy, low-cost dispute resolution arrangements in the unlikely event that they are dissatisfied
We love the Consumer Code too
We know that the Code of Conduct gives Keepmoat Homes customers even more reassurance. Knowing that we’re committed to building the best quality homes and offering the very best service.
Take a look at our 'Why Keepmoat' section to see what we do to help you throughout the process. From first viewing to moving-in day and beyond.
