The quiet village of Dinnington provides the perfect setting for our much awaited Sheraton park development. Surrounded by open countryside it has a semi-rural feel, yet everything you need for day-to-day living can be found close to home. There’s a convenience store, Post Office and a great choice of quaint village pubs all within a short walk of the development.
A short drive away in nearby Gosforth you’ll find a large Asda, Sainsbury’s, and Co-op supermarkets. Keep driving south and you’ll soon come to Newcastle city centre.
As you’d expect from a modern, vibrant city, Newcastle is home to a fantastic choice of shops, restaurant, bars and entertainment venues. Whether it’s a family a visit to one of the many museums or a night out with friends, there’s always something to do.
A great location for growing families, there’s a good choice of schools close to home. Dinnington First School is in the village and is a few minutes’ walk from the development. For older children Gosforth Academy and Ponteland Community High School are easy to get to.
Out and about
North of Newcastle city centre, Sheraton Park is ideally located for exploring some of the north of England’s finest countryside. The local area is dotted with quaint villages and country homes. Plus, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous Northumberland National Park and North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are both within easy reach.
If you fancy exploring the wide open beaches that make the north-east’s coastlines so dramatic, the coast is just over 10 miles away.
