As you’d expect from such a modern city-suburb location, all the amenities that make daily life so convenient are all on your doorstep. Just over a mile from Charlestown is Salford Shopping Centre. Here you’ll find a wide range of stores including Argos, Boots and Wilco and many, many more.
If enjoying walks along the river is more your thing, you’re in luck. The development overlooks the River Irwell. A nearby foot bridge takes you onto the opposite bank where a footpath follows the meandering river.
A great location for growing families, there’s a good choice of schools close to home. Less than half a mile is St. George’s CoE and St. Sebastians RC Primary Schools. For older children The Albion Academy is less than 1 mile away.

With Manchester city centre and Salford Quays so close to home, if you love shopping, eating out, entertainment, socialising, museums, arts and cultures you’ll always be spoilt for choice. Both are really easy to get to by car or public transport.

Just 4 miles away in the Irwell Valley is Clifton Country Park, a 48-hectare oasis of countryside in the heart of the city. Here you can enjoy lakeside and woodland walks, a nature reserve, visitors centre and much more.
