We bought our home off plan and it turned out better than I ever imagined.
I passed my plot as it was being built, so I got to see it from the ground up. Now that I’ve moved in, I can see that my home is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be inside. Langlea itself looks modern and very up market with it’s beige brickwork, white rendering and black doors. The car park is quite a nice feature with the mono-block complementing the house and off road parking is really good to have. It’s convenient for me as I can come straight out of my car and be right at my front door. I’m really happy with my home and it’s all really lovely, and with people moving in now it’s getting to be quite a friendly community.
Emma, my sales representative, went through everything with us about the process and it was really straight forward.
We never bought a house before, never mind a new build, and they told us what we would need to do very clearly. Emma brought us in every now and again just to go through updates, and when we chose all of our kitchen cabinets she showed us all of our choices really well. There was a good selection of cabinets to choose from and there was no pressure at all. Me and my partner decided there and then what we would like. Emma also showed us blueprints of what the site was going to be like, sending us emails with the progress every Friday, so we always knew what was happening and when. It was exciting getting a new build house and it was done really well. Emma and Ian, the site manager, were both really friendly and helpful.
We’re close to amenities and we’re well connected.
We’re situated in a way that is really good for us in every day life. There’s a school right opposite us which will hopefully be useful to us in the future. For convenience there’s a takeaway up the road, little shops and convenience stores about five to ten minutes away.
I’d definitely recommend Keepmoat Homes
Because I've not had any trouble with them; it's been a really fast, smooth experience.
