Local Area
Nestled in one of Burnley’s most popular suburbs, at Highgrove Place you’re never far from everything you need. There’s a great mix of local independent shops in the area, plus the nearby Tesco Extra, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Asda Supercentre cater for all your day-to-day needs.
Highgrove Place is also close to Burnley’s biggest and most popular park. Towneley Park. With over 400 acres of open green spaces, woodland and nature reserve there’s lots to explore. The River Calder meanders through the park too. It’s home to the impressive Towneley Hall stately home, which is now an art gallery and museum.
With its combination of great amenities on the doorstep, plus such easy access to green open spaces, Clarence Gardens is a great location for growing families. So it’s good to know there’s a good choice of schools nearby too. Burnley St. Stephen’s C of E Primary School and Rockwood Nursery are both a very short walk away. For older children, the new Unity College in the grounds of Towneley Hall is close to home.
