The Best Friday Night Films - Classics

In this week's blog that aims to anwer the 'what to watch' question we take a look at some of our top films that fall into the 'classic' category.

But if you think we've missed off your favourite family film, please let us know on Facebook and Instagram.

Forrest Gump
It wouldn’t be a classic film list if Forrest Gump didn’t feature. With pinches of romance, action, history and controversy, this is a film for every movie fanatic. It follows the life of Forrest and the challenges he faces - and is a timeless classic that can be re-watched endlessly.

Dirty Dancing
If you need a reason other than Patrick Swayze to watch Dirty Dancing, just know that it’s the ultimate feel-good romance film. Whether it’s your first or 100th time watching, it will always bring a tear to your eye and a smile to your face. If you’re in the mood for a sing-along, the film is also accompanied by the perfect soundtrack, so warm up those vocal cords!

The Dark Knight
One for the action lovers! As the Joker emerges and causes chaos for the people of Gotham, the Dark Knight must help to save the city. No spoilers here, but this is a worthy multiple award winner. If you want to incorporate a splash of action with a bit of added darkness into your Friday night, then you need to take a trip to Gotham City.

Pulp Fiction
A Quentin Tarantino masterpiece. If you’re in the mood for a niche, crime classic, Pulp Fiction couldn’t be more perfect. It may just be the coolest gangster film of all time and follows John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson as hit men. What more could you want on a Friday night?

Next week's category will be "Classic Films" so send us your suggestions via Facebook and Instagram.
