Rachael Across the Mersey - Meet Our Sales Executive

Want to know a little about me? I’m Rachael, a virgo, and love cake haha!

Seriously though, I’ve been in the new build industry for 16 years, previous to working at Keepmoat I was at Persimmon Homes for ten years in various roles; Sales Administrator, Sales Progressor, Marketing Co-Ordinator, Part Exchange Manager and Sales Executive. I have also worked in estate agents so have an all round understanding of the sales process. I left working in an estate agency as I missed the fast pace way of working within the new build sector. It was an industry I fell in to by mistake but I ended up with the bug and now can’t imagine working in any other sector.

What is the best thing about The Docklands?

The range of house types available here mean that there is something to suit every type of buyer.

Why should people move to The Docklands?

The amenities are great, the train station is just a few minutes walk away making the whole of the North West accessible to our home owners. But even if you want to stay close to home there are great parks, shops and cafes locally to keep you occupied.

What are the benefits of buying a new build?

The peace of mind the home owners get when buying new build is priceless. We offer various warranties, and the homeowners know that all the work done is certified so won’t have to start replacing things or doing jobs when they move in. Also the fact that they can put their own stamp on the property by selecting their own options counts for a lot.

How affordable is buying your own home?

Surprisingly more affordable than people think, very often the monthly mortgage payments on a new build are far less than that of people renting. It also helps that there are great schemes available to help people get their foot on the property ladder, such as Help to Buy, this scheme enables people to purchaser a new home with just 5% deposit enabling them to move sooner than they may have initially thought.

Top tip for moving day?

Always make sure that the first box you take to your new home has toilet roll, cups, kettle and refreshments. It’s hard work unpacking all your belongings so you will need these things handy for when you need a break.

The Docklands is a fantastic location for contemporary, connected living. With great transport links close to homes and so much within walking distance, it’s the perfect place to start the next exciting chapter in your life.

Combining the best of coast, countryside and city life, here you’ll find a great choice of two, three and four bedroom energy efficient, low maintenance homes.
