Exit Junction 44 and take the A64 Signposted York. Follow the A64 for 19 miles and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on the A64. Follow the A64 for 13 Miles and take the exit signposted Malton and follow the York Rd B1248 or 1.3 miles. Turn right fat Butcher corner onto Castlegate (still B1248) for 0.3 miles then turn left onto Church St. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Wold St and follow this road for 0.5 miles and Ebor Chase is on your right.

Local Area

Famous for its horse racing heritage and unspoilt countryside, the area has a welcoming and traditional feel that has made this part of North Yorkshire so popular with young couples and families. Plus, with all the amenities you’ll need on the doorstep, it’s perfect for modern living too. 

The nearby village high street of Norton has a great choice of independent shops, cafes, conveniences stores and much more. Or you could take a short walk or drive over the river Derwent into Malton. Here you’ll find a choice of supermarkets and a large selection of shops, including some of your high street favourites and lots of places to get a bite to eat. There really is something for everyone here, especially if you’re a bit of a foodie. 

Malton is Yorkshire’s food capital and you’ll see why at the famous food markets held every month between March and December. One of the UK’s most renowned markets, it attracts the best local producers. There are lots of stalls to sample what’s on offer and chef demos too. Talbot Yard Food Court is home to fantastic artisan producers, and is always worth a visit. Or you could join one of the Malton food tours and explore the many great and tasty things the town has to offer.   

With all the great food around, it’s only right there are lots of places to burn off the calories. The development sits at the heart of the gateway to the Yorkshire Wolds, known for its stunning unspoilt countryside and picturesque quaint villages, you can pick up the Wold Way Walk nearby and start exploring this amazing and ever-changing landscape. 

With the combination of modern amenities and countryside, Ebor Chase is an ideal location for first time buyers, families and downsizers alike. There’s a great choice of schools nearby with Norton Community Primary School just a short walk away and Norton College, for 11 to 19 year olds, is opposite the development. 

 

Out and about

With the A64 nearby, it’s easy to get out and about and enjoy everything this part of North Yorkshire has to offer. 

Castle Howard is just 7 miles away. One the Britain’s finest stately homes, there’s lots to see and do at this 18th century house with 1000 acres of parkland. There are fun events, exhibitions, guided walks and shows throughout the year.   

If you fancy a day out with a few more thrills and spills, Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo is less than a 20 minute drive away. With over 100 rides, shows and attractions, plus over 140 species of animals in the zoo, it’s a great day for all the family.

And of course, with Scarborough and the North Yorkshire coastline just 23 miles away, enjoying a day at the seaside is easy.  


Transport links
Langton Road is near the A64, giving you direct road access to York and Scarborough. If travelling by train, Malton Station is just 1 mile away with regular TransPennine Express services to Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Victoria, Scarborough and more. The local bus service also has a stop on Langton Road too.
