The local area
There’s everything you’d every need, right in Bromyard. The quaint market town is rightly proud of its high street full of privately owned shops. There’s a Post Office, bank and lots of great pubs, cafes and restaurants in the town too. The Conquest Theatre is the cultural heart of the town and the Bromyard Community Hospital caters for the town’s health needs.
There’s also a handy Co-op supermarket just a minute from the development. A couple of minute’s walk away in the centre of the town is well-equipped playground, skate park and playing field for the children. And for fitness lovers, there’s a gym in the town too.
Known as the ‘Town of Festivals’, from music and arts festivals to the summer gala there’s always something going on in the town.
Bromyard itself lies between the historic cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester. Both are about 15 miles from the development.
Hereford’s relaxed and picturesque city centre is home to all your favourite shops, plus the new £90 million Old Market shopping and entertainment venue. Here you can shop, eat and even catch a movie.
Alternatively, head east on the A44 for Worcester. There’s something for everyone in this beautiful city along the River Severn, including some fantastic shopping and restaurants in the medieval Friar Street.
A great location for growing families, there’s a good choice of schools close to home. St Peter’s Primary School is a few minute’s walk from your door. For older children, Queen Elizabeth Humanities College is less than a mile away.
