    The Isle of Sheppey, just 46 miles from London, provides the perfect setting for one of our most prestigious developments in the South East. Nestled between Rushenden and Queenborough, this development of modern and affordable homes has plenty of great amenities on the doorstep.

    There’s a large Morrisons supermarket and a retail park just 2 minutes away. Plus, there’s lots in Queenborough. Explore Queenborough a little more and its seafaring history is plain to see. There are some great pubs around the harbour and many walks along The Swale.

    London is within easy reach of the Isle of Sheppey. But there’s so much to do in the local area too. Just over 3 miles away, on the north coast of the Isle of Sheppey is Sheerness. This popular seaside town boasts a ‘Blue Flag’ award winning (2016) bathing beach. The promenade is great for walking and cycling, there’s lots of family-friendly attractions in the town as well.

    One of the area’s other great day-out destinations is Elmley National Nature Reserve. This huge reserve of meadows and waterways is famous for its stunning wildlife, including many wading birds, such as lapwings, redshanks, avocets and oystercatchers. Birds of prey fill the skies here and if you’re lucky, you could also spot a water vole or grass snake. The Reserve is packed with history too. Discover the house where King James II was imprisoned or walk the marches that inspired Dickens’ Great Expectations.
