05 March 2018

UK home builder, Keepmoat Homes, is delighted to be the new sponsor of the Botany Road Stand at Sheppey United Football Club for the 2018-19 season.  Keepmoat Homes is currently undertaking its first project on the island, delivering the first phase of 101 new homes off Rushenden Road, Queenborough, as part of the Queenborough and Rushenden regeneration scheme

Janet Plant, Head of Sales at Keepmoat Homes, said: “It is always good to be able to support grass roots activity in the areas where we are building new homes.  Working with Sheppey United FC will give us a great opportunity to introduce our company to the supporters as well as providing additional funding to help a fantastic community club”.

Paul Rogers, Commercial Director at Sheppey United FC, commented: “This again goes to show the calibre of high profile companies that are looking at Sheppey United FC and The Havill Stadium-Holm Park as their preferred choice of advertising and sponsorship. Our stadium and facilities in my opinion are the best in the Swale area and among the best in Kent at any level. Having Keepmoat Homes and all of our other valued companies backing the club can only push the football club forward”.

Matthew Smith, Chairman, of Sheppey United FC, added: “We would like to thank Keepmoat Homes for their sponsorship of The Botany Road Stand and we look forward to welcoming them at the club. We have achieved so much both on and off the field in the past few years and we look forward to an ongoing relationship.”

Keepmoat Homes’ Nelson Vue development in Queenborough is the first phase of work for the Queenborough and Rushenden regeneration scheme, which aims to provide 1,100 homes alongside new community facilities.

The Nelson Vue development will offer two, three and four-bedroom houses.
