Keepmoat recognises Trainees, Apprentices and Graduates in third annual awards

09 March 2018

UK homebuilder Keepmoat Homes has celebrated the achievements of its Trainees, Apprentices and Graduates (TAGs) at its third annual TAG Awards.

Held in Doncaster the ceremony awarded TAGs from Keepmoat’s regional divisions across the country, with winners from each region chosen for a range of reasons including outstanding work ethic and providing exceptional customer service.

Tim Beale, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Executive at Keepmoat Homes, who presented the awards, said:  “The event is a great opportunity for us to not only reward our TAGs but also demonstrate how much we value all the work they do. Their contribution is integral to the success and future growth of our company.

“At the moment 9% of our colleagues are TAGs and although this is above the industry average this is something we want to develop even further. This is particularly important because of the skills gap we currently face in the construction industry. Events like these reward individuals but also raise awareness of the great opportunities and careers paths available in the field and at Keepmoat Homes.”

The regional winners were:

  • Jack Stoker - North East
  • Ellie Soles – East Midlands
  • Dylan Cox – Central services
  • Natalie Porter – West Midlands
  • Cameron Boland – Yorkshire
  • Molly Downes – Yorkshire
  • Rebecca Blease – North West

Bianca Hernandez from the North West and Lizzie Findlay from the East Midlands were also both highly commended at the awards.

The competition was so high that two overall national winners were chosen from all those awarded, with Molly Downes and Rebecca Blease both taking the title. Molly was recognised for her commercial tenacity and resilience whilst Rebecca was praised for her outstanding customer service and the endorsements sent to Keepmoat from her customers.
