Festive Fun For St Stephen’s School

19 December 2018

St Stephen’s Primary School in in the Sighthill area of Glasgow got some extra Christmas cheer this week with a special performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.

The production by M&M Theatrical Productions was arranged by the school in partnership with Keepmoat Homes and Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure, to provide some festive fun for the pupils. Both companies are working in the area as part of the Sighthill Project, the largest of eight Transformational Regeneration Areas (TRAs) in Glasgow.

Beth McNeil, Regional Managing Director at Keepmoat Homes said:

“Pantomimes are a classic festive tradition that brings families and communities together, therefore we were delighted to be able to partner with Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure and work with St Stephen’s to arrange this treat for the school children to enjoy.”

Roger Reid, Project Director at Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure said:

We have supported St Stephen’s on several community initiatives since the start of our project at Sighthill, and joining in the festive fun with Keepmoat as co-sponsors of the pantomime is very much part of our collaborative approach. We hope all concerned have great time!

Anne Mc Manus, from St Stephen’s School said:

“At this time of year we want our children to experience the magic of Christmas. Often children have had to miss out on celebrations due to financial constraints on the school and their families. We are delighted that our friends at Keepmoat Homes and Morgan Sindall have stepped in to sponsor a Pantomime for the children this year. What a lovely way to celebrate the hard work throughout the year and end on a high note!”
