Humberside International Airport is only 30 minutes’ drive from Hull. Hull port also boasts great connections to Europe, with daily ferries to both Zeebrugge and Rotterdam.

With great transport links close to home, exploring the region is easy. The picturesque city of York and the modern, shopping heaven of Leeds are both just over an hour away.
One of the great things about this location in Hull is how close you are to the varied and interesting coastline. The pretty seaside towns of Hornsea and Withernsea are about 15 miles away. Head further up the coast and Bridlington, Flamborough, Filey and Scarborough are also easy to get to.
If you love getting close to nature, take a visit to Spurn Head Heritage Coast. Run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, in spring and autumn it’s the place to go to see a huge array of migrating birds. Plus, if you’re lucky you can spot seals throughout the year. Head across the City and you will find the Humber Bridge Country park where you can walk across and marvel at the Humber Bridge into North Lincolnshire and back.

A little closer to home is East Park, Hull’s largest and most treasured public park. The Grade II listed park opened in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee and today provides something for everyone. There’s over 130 acres of stunning parkland to enjoy, you can brave the famous splash boat or visit the animal education centre complete with snakes and tarantulas. This great attraction is great fun all year around and is only a 10 minute drive from the development.
If you head out of town, you can explore both the beautiful countryside and stunning coastline. Fort Paull in particular is not one to be missed. The grand, lavishly restored fort built in the 1860s with its underground labyrinths is incredibly interesting.
