The development is served by Stagecoach bus services to the City Centre along Holderness Road through to the Restaurants and bars of Beverley Road. The A1033 and A63 are minutes away. If you’re travelling by train, Hull Interchange is under 5 miles away. Regular services to York, Manchester, Sheffield and London Kings Cross run from here. Humberside International Airport is only 30 minutes’ drive from Hull. Hull port also boasts great connections to Europe, with daily ferries to both Zeebrugge and Rotterdam.

Schools:

A great place for growing families, there’s a good choice of schools close to home. Oldfleet Primary, Mountbatten Primary, Griffin Primary, Wilberforce College and Arch Bishop Sentamu Academy are all within easy walking distance.

Out and about:

With great transport links close to home, exploring the region is easy. The picturesque city of York and the modern, shopping heaven of Leeds are both just over an hour away. One of the great things about this location in Hull is how close you are to the varied and interesting coastline. The pretty seaside towns of Hornsea and Withernsea are about 15 miles away. Head further up the coast and Bridlington, Flamborough, Filey and Scarborough are also easy to get to.

If you love getting close to nature, take a visit to Spurn Head Heritage Coast. Run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, in spring and autumn it’s the place to go to see a huge array of migrating birds. Plus, if you’re lucky you can spot seals throughout the year. Head across the City and you will find the Humber Bridge Country park where you can walk across and marvel at the Humber Bridge into North Lincolnshire and back.

A little closer to home is East Park, Hull’s largest and most treasured public park. The Grade II listed park opened in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee and today provides something for everyone. There’s over 130 acres of stunning parkland to enjoy, you can brave the famous splash boat or visit the animal education centre complete with snakes and tarantulas. This great attraction is great fun all year around and is only a 10 minute drive from the development.

If you head out of town, you can explore both the beautiful countryside and stunning coastline. Fort Paull in particular is not one to be missed. The grand, lavishly restored fort built in the 1860s with its underground labyrinths is incredibly interesting.

FROM HULL CITY CENTRE:

Follow the A165 North along Holderness Road. Continue past Morrisons on the right. At the traffic lights junction with Ings Road and Holderness Road, turn right onto Maybury Road. Continue for half a mile and take the second left after the BP station onto Hopewell Road. Continue forward at the next roundabout and then take the second exit right on the next roundabout onto Grange Road. City’s Reach is on the right.

FROM A63, M62, DOCKS AND HEDON:

Follow the A1033 to Marfleet roundabout and turn left if coming from the A63 West or turn right if coming from the East onto Marfleet Avenue. Continue ahead for 1 mile before turning right onto Staveley Road. At the roundabout turn right and then take the second exit right on the next roundabout onto Grange Road. City’s Reach is on the right.

First Homes Scheme

Many young people dream of owning a home in their local area – whether they grew up or settled there but sometimes local properties are too expensive, forcing them to move out of their communities. First Homes is a new Government-backed scheme to help more people onto their local property ladder.

First Homes scheme supports local and key worker first-time buyers by providing a significant discount of at least 30%* on new build homes in their local area compared market prices - turning their dream of homeownership into a reality. 

What are First Homes?

  • First Homes are newly built homes for local and key worker first-time buyers
  • The homes are offered at a discount of at least 30%* compared to prices of equivalent properties on the open market. 
  • The discount will apply to the First Home forever - this means the same percentage discount from the original sale will be passed on to the new buyer every time the home is sold.

What type of properties are First Homes?

  • First Homes are homes suitable for first-time buyers.
  • First Homes are of the same type and quality, and meet the same standards, as the other newly built homes for open market sale within the same development. 
  • The maximum price of a First Home, after the discount has been applied is £250,000 in England (£420,000 in London).

Who is eligible for First Homes?

  • All purchasers must be first-time buyers. 
  • Purchasers will also need to comply with any local connections restrictions, or key worker restrictions, set by the local authority where the First Home is located.
  • The purchaser’s household’s income must be no more than £80,000* in England (or £90,000 in London).
  • The current eligibility criteria will apply to all future sales of each First Home.
