Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join our Scotland region based from our office near Glasgow, due to the nature of the role it will involve some travel throughout the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of cost plans for both the appraisal of development opportunities and land acquisition itself. Working closely with both internal and external customers, the successful candidate will ensure that all estimating work required to deliver the budget is completed accurately, and in the most efficient and effective manner to support the business plan.
The Estimator will set, agree, review and deliver targets, along with producing accurate and timely reports for the business in line with company-wide processes. They will identify, escalate and proactively manage all commercial issues, protecting the companies legal and contractual obligations.

Skills, knowledge & experience
We are looking for someone who fits with our core values here at Keepmoat; they will be passionate about the housebuilding industry and have extensive previous experience in a similar role. They will be collaborative and confident building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. They will be creative and bring an enthusiastic, flexible and agile approach to their work. They will be solutions focused and work in a straightforward way to ensure the commercial team meets its targets.
Education & qualifications
The successful candidate will hold the relevant industry requirements; RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
