Job description
Main purpose of the role
- Be the subject matter expert for each application and their use within the business
- Provide second line support and maintenance
- Lead enhancements and minor changes
- Understand each application roadmap and assess opportunities to exploit functionality to support the business
Key Accountabilities
Systems and User Support
- Provide 2nd line support in accordance with agreed SLA’s.
- Liaise with 3rd party application providers to work any support issues logged through to conclusion.
- Make regional visits to hold Applications support workshops and ‘floor walk’ as agreed based on incident trends or regional requests.
- Hold regular review calls with 3rd party application providers eg, COINS, Airsweb, to agree priority calls and the subsequent steps to resolution.
- Produce and maintain documentation.
- Monitor application availability and performance, perform testing, resolve issues and conduct optimisation as appropriate.
Training
- Ensure that appropriate training provision is available for each application.
- Ensure that training documentation and E-learning is maintained in line with changes and upgrades.
User Groups & Enhancements
- Attend and contribute to user communities, represent Keepmoat applications within external user communities.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, validate, and progress to conclusion.
- Ensure that appropriate training provision is available for each application.
Project Support & Implementations
- Take ownership of any allocated project or change related systems configuration.
- Work with third parties eg, COINS to implement any changes.
- Take ownership of any allocated unit, user acceptance and regression testing.
- Provide go-live support for an agreed period.
Governance
- Create documentation for any function performed as directed.
