Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager to join our Land and Planning Team at our regional head office in Speke near Liverpool. This role is to support our North West region, who have a robust and secure plan for future developments.
The main purpose of the Planning Manager role is to coordinate Planning Applications Packages in line with business delivery. They will also facilitate starts on site through coordinating and discharging planning conditions.
The Planning Manager will maintain document control and develop planning status reports, and other general tasks related planning applications in line with internal systems and procedures. They will research planning designations and history in order to undertake basic site assessment and evaluations in accordance with industry best practice guidelines.

Skills, knowledge & experience
We are looking for someone who embodies our Keepmoat values; a straightforward team player who works with an enthusiastic, self-motivated, solutions focused approach. They will be creative and used to working in a flexible and agile way within a Planning role to ensure we meet business outcomes. They will be passionate about providing the highest quality customer care, and a collaborative team player, with experience communicating with different stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have experience within a similar role in the housebuilding/construction industry. Due to the nature of the role, site visits throughout the region will be required and the postholder will be able to work flexibly in order to do so. A company car or car allowance will be provided.
