If you’re looking for something to do in your spare time, this is the place for you too. Fife Leisure Park is a short drive or bus ride from your door. With a cinema, ten-pin bowling, all your favourite restaurants, shops, gym and bingo – there’s something for everyone here.
Just 5 miles away is the bustling city of Dunfermline. Famous for being Scotland’s ancient capital, whether you fancy shopping, dining, taking in the great nightlife, or the many national heritage sites, there’s lots to do. Even closer to home is Cowdenbeath. You’ll find everything you need along the High Street, plus the town’s famous Leuchatsbeath Community Woodland is a fantastic place to escape the hustle and bustle. Relax and unwind in this 95 acre green oasis. A great location for growing families, there’s a good choice of schools nearby. Hill of Beath Primary School is just a few minutes’ walk away. Crossgates and St Bride RC primary schools are also nearby. For older children, Beath High School and St Columba’s RC High School are within easy reach.

The bright lights, culture, cuisine, shopping and nightlife of Edinburgh and Glasgow are easy to get to from Baxterfield. Within 45 minutes you could be in the bustling heart of Edinburgh and Glasgow is just an hour away.
