The development is well served by a range of local shops and facilities on nearby Hessle Road including newsagents, fruit and veg stores, hardware stores, bookmakers and a good selection of takeaways. There are also two large supermarkets.

The Princess Quay Shopping Centre is close by and is home to a large selection of shops and things to do like Primark, Nandos, Pizza Express, Vue Cinema, Soft Play, The Perfume Shop, Superdrug and many more. The centre also offers restaurants, cafes and a multi-screen cinema.

St Stephen’s is Hull’s newest retail outlet. Located next to the Paragon transport interchange, the centre boasts high street and fashion names alongside popular restaurant chains and a cinema.

Out and About

Hull has a museum quarter consisting of Wilberforce House, the Arctic Cosair, the Hull and East Riding Museum and the Streetlife Museum of Transport. Other attractions include the Ferens Art Gallery, the Maritime Museum and the award winning The Deep Aquarium, the world’s only underwater aquarium.

There are also three theatres: the Hull New Theatre, The Northern Theatre Company and the Hull Truck Theatre, showing a range of local and national productions, not to mention the traditional Christmas pantomime!

The local area offers much in the way of sporting activities, including a climbing centre just down the road from the development. Further afield there are gyms, leisure centres and a selection of golf clubs. The KC stadium, home ground of Hull City FC, is less than a mile away.

Every October Hull is host to one of the world’s largest travelling funfairs.

Travel

Amy Johnson is located just 2.2 miles from Hull city centre meaning all the amenities of this lively city are easily accessed either by a short car journey or the regular bus service.

Commuting is easy with a number of road connections nearby. The A63 is nearby, the main road into Hull that connects with the M62, linking with Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and the rest of the UK motorway network.

The Humber Bridge, the fifth longest suspension bridge in the world, connects the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire and can be seen from the development.

The Paragon Interchange opened in 2007 to integrate the city’s railway station with the bus and coach station. Commuting and travelling around the city is now much easier.

Hull also has a ferry terminal linking it with Zeebruge and Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

How it works couldn’t be easier:

  • When you reserve your new Keepmoat home, we’ll take details of your current one
  • We'll arrange for two independent valuations and agree the selling price with you
  • We'll then manage every aspect, from advertising right through to completion
  • We'll contact you to arrange viewings, surveys etc.
  • And when it’s all done, we’ll pay your estate agents fee too

Deposit unlock

Deposit Unlock is a brand new scheme to help all types of buyers purchase a brand new home, with just a 5% deposit. Giving you the freedom to buy, without needing a big deposit or lots of equity in your home, whether you’re buying your first home, or your next one, this could help to make the move much more affordable.  

Developed by the Home Builders Federation, the home building industry and mortgage lenders, it provides homebuyers with 95% loan-to-value mortgages at competitive rates.

Available to first-time buyers and existing homeowners, it makes buying a new home more affordable, without needing to save for a huge deposit.

Deposit Unlock is currently available via selected lenders but more are joining all the time. The scheme is expected to be more widely available across the UK soon.  

How it works:

  • Find the perfect home for you at one of our participating developments
  • Talk to your Sales Executive about the Deposit Unlock scheme – they’ll be able to offer advice on whether it’s right for you
  • If you want to go ahead with Deposit Unlock, we’ll supply written confirmation to specified lenders
  • If you meet the lender's criteria, you can reserve your Keepmoat home
