If you enjoy an active lifestyle, this is the place for you. Fearnville Fields is just a couple of minute walk from the development. Fearnville Leisure Centre is also here. There’s a pool, well-equipped gym, astroturf pitch, tennis courts, sports hall and more. Primrose Valley Park, a popular green oasis in the suburbs, is also nearby. Plus, the famous Roundhay Park is just 2.5 miles away. One of the biggest city parks in Europe, there’s more than 700 acres of parkland, woodland and gardens. Hardly surprising that there’s always lots going on here. If you’re feeling energetic you can walk around one of the lakes – or both! There are many other walking trails, from toddler-friendly paths to something for the serious walker. Home to the largest collection of tropical plants outside Kew Gardens, the famous Butterfly House is must. Or if you just want to relax, you can do that too. Take a gentle stroll in the many beautiful gardens or chill out with a coffee in the lakeside Café.
If you love getting out and about, this is the place for you. The Wyke Beck Way is a major walking and cycling network and you can pick it up just down the road. The section near the development winds its way along the Wyke Beck Valley and it’s a great way to get around the area.
It’s easy to see that this location is a great setting for families and there’s a good choice of schools nearby. Beechwood Primary is less than a ten minute walk away. For older children, Bishop Young C of E Academy and Leeds East Academy are also close to home.
With Leeds city centre so close to home, it’s easy to enjoy everything this modern and vibrant city has to offer.
