Shopping and leisure
The Elk Mill Centre Retail Park, is only three miles away and nearby Oldham town centre has plenty of popular high street stores. Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre contains an array of fashion stores, banks, and cafes.
Thirty minutes away is the Trafford Centre, one of the country’s most visited shopping destinations, with an Odeon cinema, a large food court and with around 280 popular high street and department stores.

There are a number of Primary Schools in the area, with the closest being Mayfield Primary School, just 0.3 miles away. Also accessible on foot are Watersheddings Primay School just 0.7 miles away and Little Moor Primary School.
The Blue Coat School provides secondary education, and Oldham Sixth Form College is just 0.8 miles away, close to the town centre.
For further education facilities, Oldham College is less than two miles away from city centre area and the transport links into Manchester open up The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University and Salford University to prospective students.
